Fewdays back the PC started playing up so decided to reinstall windows 10. After fresh Win 10 install the system couldn't recognise the HDD Next reboot nothing on screen, I can hear the fans the power button lights up but nothing on screen - absolutely nothing. Already tried the following: 1. Reboot. 2. Reseat HDD, RAM, checked other connections.
Tosummarize: 1- Download the bios file on the acer support website. 2- If it's necessary (Windows version), extract the self-extratible file (*.exe) contained in the zip. file with 7-zip. 3- Format an USB flash drive to FAT or FAT32. 4- Copy all files on this one (contained in the Dos or Windows (#2) folder)
Goto the BIOS Main tab and make sure that the F12 and D2D options are set to enabled. Then save and exit the BIOS menu settings. If you still get the black screen, then press and hold the power button till the machine completely shuts off. Then turn the machine back on.
aceraspire e1-572g. system restore done sucessfully (windows 10, was working fine but slow). After shutting it down normally and turning it back on a few hours later the screen is black. However, connecting to an external screen via HDMI works and everything seems fine. Sound is fine and integrated web cam is fine.

Fromthe Recovery screen, click on See advanced repair options. Click on Troubleshoot. Click on Advanced Options. Click on Startup Settings. Click on Restart. The PC will now reboot to the Startup Settings screen. Press 4 to Enable Safe Mode as prompted. once booted on safe mode, go to Device manager/display adapter/click driver tab/uninstall.
Trythese basic steps as you are using a Acer PC. Turn off the computer. Unplug all the devices and cables including power cable. Press and hold the power button for 45 seconds. Connect all the cables back. Please connect the power cable as the last one. Turn on the computer. Tap del. Go to bios.
Idoubt if flashing the bios will help. true bios corruption is rare and I think people confuse bios corruption with resetting the bios to default settings. Screen went black and turning on off does not get it to work. After searching tried a few of the suggested fixes for other models and no luck. Does not work with external monitor either.

The option for Balanced should be checked by default ---> Next to balanced click on change plan settings --->. Underneath where it says plugged in there is a brightness meter.
hiI have a acer aspire E5-573 series laptop. As soon as I turn the laptop on it goes straight to automatic repair but then goes straight to a black screen and nothing else happens it just stays on the black screen.
