🥅 Bmw E46 Indicators Not Working
-No illumination and no turning indicators on the cluster-All gauges are functional-No A/C (the unit does not work unless I disconnect the battery overnight and reattach it then it will work for 10 minutes and then goes back to being nonfunctional-Controls on the steering wheel do not work (still illuminates)
Check the oil warm or cold, it does not matter. The difference in the result is not enough to turn the Low Oil Lighth on. If the engine is warm, let the oil drain for a minute or two, or longer if you are not in any hurrty. Pull the dipstick and wipe it clean, put it in again them pull it out and read the level.
The next thing would be to:::: remove sender and pump on the right while there is fuel on the left, take a bucket with fuel and submerge the sender with pump on the right. So that i can see inside right tank. start the car, pull the pipe from the jet pump and see if this fuel is being sprayed to the right.
not true on alarms not on BMW, under your airfilter, attached to firewall, is a unit that has a battery along with chirping speaker. this battery goes bad. If you had the blinking lights before and they have stopped working then you have one of two issues. the rechargeable battery in FOB is done or another issue.

The E46 headlight switch is mounted in the dashboard on the left side of the steering wheel. The switch fails over time and causes exterior lighting problems. The headlight switch is mounted to the lighting control module. When removed, they come out as a unit and can be separated and serviced individually. The headlight switch is not a big deal.
Then gently pry the contacts toward the bulb base. This will restore the tension on the contact so it makes proper contact with the bulb bases. If you have an E92 coupe, certain MYs were affected by faulty bulb holders. If your model falls under this service bulletin, you need new bulb holders. See more.

Hi, my mate's BMW E46 320D has developed a new problem recently, his indicators are working Ok, hazards also work Ok, but there is no indication on his cluster panel, and no ticking noise, quite a dangerous fault as he may not know his indicators are on, and this can mislead another driver and cause an accident especially at side junctions.
